TERMS OF COMMISSION AND SERVICE

Governing Private Commissions, Production Allocations and Delivery Standards

LePatron operates as an independent custom leather atelier. By requesting private consultation, approving bespoke invoice specifications, or remitting settlement for an archived commission, you formally accept the terms, protocols, and policies articulated herein.

I. Bespoke Allocation and Private Invoicing

We do not mass-produce commercial stock for open inventory. Every piece is cut and individually assembled within finite workbench allocations.

  • Consultation Approval: All physical dimensions, hide selections, linen thread contrasts, and personalized configurations are verified directly between the client and our concierge before leather cutting commences.
  • Private Invoicing: Work begins strictly upon confirmed receipt of settlement via our private, encrypted payment allocations.

II. Return, Exchange and Cancellation Policy

Due to the strictly personalized nature of bespoke commissions—including custom sizing, hide allocations, hardware configurations, and initial debossing—all commissioned works are considered Final Sale and are strictly non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable once hide cutting has commenced.

  • Cancellation Window: Commission requests may be altered or cancelled only within 24 hours of invoice payment. Beyond this period, hides are prepared and bench hours allocated.
  • Artisanal Character: Genuine full-grain and exotic hides inherently exhibit natural grain variations, unique scale configurations, and subtle mineral shifts. These biological nuances reflect authenticity and do not constitute structural flaws.
  • Craft Integrity Guarantee: In the unlikely event of an objective structural defect or dimensional deviation from approved specifications, please notify the concierge within 48 hours of transit delivery with accompanying photographic documentation for review and restoration.

III. Production Lead Times and Scheduling

Production windows represent disciplined artisanal execution rather than automated warehouse speed: typically 15 to 20 business days for horological straps and small leather goods, and 25 to 35 business days for structured bags and archival carry. Stated timeframes reflect bench craft duration and exclude international courier transit.

IV. International Transit and Customs Responsibility

  • United States Deliveries (DDP): Handled on a Delivered Duty Paid basis. Applicable import duties and clearance fees are fully absorbed by our atelier.
  • International Deliveries (DAP): Dispatched to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific on a Delivered at Place basis via DHL Express or FedEx Priority. Import tariffs, statutory clearance fees, or destination VAT remain the direct responsibility of the recipient upon arrival.
  • Transit Delivery: All parcels require direct signature upon delivery to ensure chain of custody.
